The Great British Tennis Weekend
Bovingdon & Flaunden Tennis Club invite you to come and try your hand at tennis. Its free and we can provide rackets.
So whether you are a complete beginner, or just haven’t played for some time, we will have coaching available to help you. For the younger ones we have mini tennis, so bring your parents and younger brothers and sisters as well.

We will be running a BBQ from 1.30, (but we need to know how many people to cater for, so don’t forget to book your place). The ball machine will be running as well, so why not see if you can return Andy Murray’s serve!!
If you decide to become a member following the day, we will give you a 50% membership discount if you sign up in June.
Bovingdon and Flaunden Tennis Club is a small, friendly club situated in the picturesque Hertfordshire village of Bovingdon.There is no playing-in standard and everyone is welcome to join in. If you have moved into the area recently, come along for a social game and meet the the members.
If you are more serious about your tennis the club runs a number of teams. During the summer months, 3 courts are usually allocated to matches from 18.00 Monday to Friday, but two courts are usually available for members. Saturdays are fully booked for junior coaching and adult social until 17.00, but the courts are usually free after. On Sunday afternoons and evenings the courts are also usually free.
There are mens, ladies, mixed and junior league fixtures.We like to encourage our junior section and introduce children to the joys of tennis and subsequently help them to improve their skills.There is coaching available for adult and junior members.
The club is open to new members, you are welcome to join in our Saturday afternoon, Wednesday afternoon or Sunday morning social sessions, young players can come along to our Saturday morning junior program.
We also run weekly Rusty Racket sessions every Saturday aimed at adults who want to try tennis before joining the Club, look under the coaching tab for more information.We like to encourage our junior section and introduce children to the joys of tennis and subsequently help them to improve their skills.
